How it works

Three steps from integration to settlement

No card scheme applications, no separate acquirer contracts, no local entity in every market you sell to.

Step 01

Connect

Drop in the hosted checkout or call the API directly. Most merchants are taking live payments within a week of approval.

Step 02

Collect

Your customer sees the methods they actually use, priced in their own currency, on a checkout that carries your brand.

Step 03

Settle

Funds are consolidated and paid out on your schedule, in the currency you choose, with a single reconciliation file.

Coverage

Local methods, not just international cards

In most markets outside the card belt, a card-only checkout turns away more customers than it converts. These are the methods that move the numbers.

Risk and compliance

The unglamorous part, handled properly

Fraud screening

Every transaction is scored before authorisation. Rules are tuned to your market and sector rather than a global default, so you block fraud without blocking customers.

Chargeback management

Disputes are surfaced the day they arrive, with evidence templates and deadline tracking. We represent on your behalf where the evidence supports it.

Card data security

Card details never touch your servers. Payments are processed on PCI DSS Level 1 certified infrastructure, which keeps your own compliance scope to a self-assessment questionnaire.

Common questions

What merchants ask us first

What is Aldgate Pay?

Aldgate Pay is a merchant payment gateway. It connects an online checkout to over 150 local payment methods across more than 200 markets through a single integration, and consolidates the money into one settlement account. It is a trading name of Grant & Graham Holding OÜ, operating from Dubai.

Which payment methods can I accept?

Visa and Mastercard, digital wallets such as Apple Pay, Google Pay, Alipay and WeChat Pay, bank transfer methods including iDEAL, SEPA Direct Debit, PIX and UPI, and cash voucher schemes such as Boleto, OXXO and Konbini. Coverage varies by market and by the risk profile of your business.

How long does integration take?

A hosted checkout can be live in a day once your account is approved. A direct API integration typically takes a developer a few days. The longer part is usually account approval, which depends on how quickly you can supply company documents, ownership details and processing history.

What does it cost?

Standard pricing starts at 2.4% plus €0.25 per transaction, with no monthly minimum. Above roughly €250,000 in monthly volume, interchange-plus pricing is available. Your actual rate depends on the methods you accept, the markets you sell into and your chargeback history, so the figure on your rate card may differ.

When do I get paid?

Weekly payouts are standard, in any of 25 settlement currencies. Daily payouts and split settlement are available on the Scale plan. Every payout arrives with a single reconciliation file covering all methods and markets.

Do I need to be PCI compliant?

You still have PCI DSS obligations, but they are much smaller. Because card details are captured on PCI DSS Level 1 certified infrastructure rather than your own servers, most merchants using the hosted checkout qualify for the shortest self-assessment questionnaire rather than a full audit.

Where is Aldgate Pay based?

The office is at One Central, Downtown Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The contracting entity is Grant & Graham Holding OÜ, registered in Estonia. Merchant enquiries go to pay@aldgatepay.com.
